When you are just starting out, launching a new site, or even if you have been doing it for years – building quality backlinks from high DA sites can either be extremely difficult, or expensive.
I want to build up a list here of FREE directory sites, for your blog.
A directory site is just what it sounds like, a list of blogs, or websites, usually in categories and not really for human searchers. Directory sites like this are found by search engines (google) and indexed, the links to your site will be found and the search engine will consider that the website containing the link, thinks that your site is valuable for a specific search term. These sites typically have a high DA (Domain Authority) It is not Blackhat SEO, but I guess – Although widely accepted as an SEO tactic – it is not exactly whitehat either.
Some directory sites will charge between $2.99 and $9.99 to display a link to your site for 1 year. Most will also Allow you to post for Free at a deeper page depth, with an approval time of several Months, or several weeks with a reciprocal link. – So yes, some of the sites listed below, are reciprocal links. But, hey we are all marketers, right?
I am only listing ones that I feel are high quality, but if Google deems them not to be – its not my fault, okay?
